Installing Tongue and Groove Wallboard - November 24 - December 18, 2003All walls on the entire first and second floor are Ponderosa pine tongue and groove wallboard (no drywall). We had a lot of 2x6 tongue and groove left over from the roof and porches, so we used this on some interior walls (mostly on the back shed dormer, which is a constructed wall). 2x6 is not really suited for this, as it seemed to be more warped and have more imperfections than 1x6. Our builders had a tough time making the 2x6 work, so we do not recommend using leftover 2x6 on interior walls.
